Rhianna Furness
Michigan photographer
Hi, I’m Rhianna, and I’ve pretty much always had a camera in my hand. I was that friend… the slightly annoying one who was constantly stopping everyone to take photos, capturing moments that other people didn’t think twice about. Turns out, that habit turned into a lifelong love for documenting real life.
My photography style is a mix of documentation and candid storytelling. I’m not here to force stiff poses or perfect moments, I want the real laughs, the in-between glances, the happy chaos, and the moments you didn’t even realize were happening. The ones that actually feel like you.
I graduated from Grand Valley State University with a degree in education and during the year I work as a special education teacher, a job that’s taught me a lot about patience, empathy, and seeing people for exactly who they are. When summer hits, my life completely flips and becomes 100% photography-focused, and honestly, it’s my favorite balance of both worlds.
Whether it’s a wedding day, graduation, or just capturing a season of life, my goal is always the same: to give you photos that feel real, emotional, and timeless — the kind you’ll look back on and actually feel again.
